Town Hall Meetings - Aug. 3rd & 7th, 2009

"Don't let Houston annex you!"

Did you know you MIGHT be in the path of the annexing monster known as Houston? Houston now completely surrounds Katy and Waller, controlling most of the land east of FM 362. How can we protect our way of life and small-town community and NOT get annexed by Houston? The City of Pattison will discuss this problem at TWO town hall meetings on Monday, August 3rd and Friday, August 7th at the Pattison Fire Station starting at 7 PM.

We will have a wall-sized aerial map showing the boundaries of all the cities in our area and YOUR land. You might be surprised how close you are to being in Houston! Does your Pattison-area home and Brookshire address cause confusion? We'll discuss this problem, other zip code and delivery issues, and also the possibility of an ad valorem tax. Everybody is invited whether you live in the city limits or not.
